Oakville, ON \u2013 [May 6, 2026] \u2013<\/strong> The Jim Pattison Centre for Health Systems Learning & Innovation and the CAN Health Network have joined forces to advance the testing, adoption and scaling of health innovations across the Canadian health care system.<\/p>\n

This partnership brings together two organizations with complementary strengths and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes and strengthening health systems through practical, real\u2011world innovation.<\/p>\n

The Jim Pattison Centre for Health Systems Learning & Innovation is a first-of-its-kind hub based in Kelowna, British Columbia, focused on advancing health systems transformation through collaboration, education, and the practical implementation of innovation. Designed to bridge the gap between promising ideas and real-world application, the Centre brings together health system leaders, clinicians, researchers, and communities to co-create, implement, and scale solutions that improve care delivery \u2013 particularly in rural, remote, and underserved regions.<\/p>\n

The CAN Health Network is a federally supported, national initiative that connects health care organizations with Canadian technology companies to validate, procure, and scale innovative solutions that address real-world system challenges. Through its \u201cEdge\u201d model, the Network enables health care providers to test and adopt new technologies while helping Canadian companies grow and scale nationally and globally.<\/p>\n

\u201cInnovation alone doesn\u2019t transform health systems \u2013 implementation does,\u201d said Dr. Dee Taylor, Executive Director, Jim Pattison Centre for Health Systems Learning + Innovation. \u201cThrough this partnership, we are combining national infrastructure with community-rooted expertise to ensure solutions are not only adopted, but sustained and scaled in ways that truly improve care.\u201d<\/p>\n
