Les plaies repr\u00e9sentent une charge importante pour les patients, les soignants, les cliniciens et le syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 dans son ensemble. En l\u2019absence d\u2019\u00e9valuation et d\u2019intervention efficaces, les plaies sont associ\u00e9es \u00e0 des r\u00e9sultats n\u00e9gatifs pour les patients, tels que des co\u00fbts de traitement \u00e9lev\u00e9s et une dur\u00e9e de s\u00e9jour prolong\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunnybrook Health Sciences \u00e0 Toronto explore constamment les moyens d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019acc\u00e8s, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et l\u2019efficience du traitement des plaies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le MolecuLight I:X de MolecuLight visualise les bact\u00e9ries mod\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 lourdes, indiquant quand une intervention est n\u00e9cessaire. La technologie affiche des r\u00e9sultats de nettoyage et de d\u00e9bridement cibl\u00e9s qui am\u00e9liorent la pr\u00e9paration des plaies et la s\u00e9lection des produits, ce qui permet d\u2019obtenir des taux de fermeture des plaies beaucoup plus rapides. Le dispositif de diagnostic de MolecuLight est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9terminer les infections pr\u00e9coces, les \u00e9checs pr\u00e9coces des produits appliqu\u00e9s et renseigne sur l\u2019utilisation de produits plus appropri\u00e9s. Par cons\u00e9quent, MolecuLight I:X limite le gaspillage de produits et la surconsommation d\u2019antibiotiques tout en r\u00e9duisant le nombre de visites r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es des patients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet appareil a soutenu le Service clinique des plaies (SCP) de Sunnybrook en augmentant la pr\u00e9cision des \u00e9valuations, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es pour am\u00e9liorer les plans de traitement. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
