The Coordinated Accessible National (CAN) Health Network provides Canadian health technology companies with an integrated and receptive marketplace by removing the most common access barriers that prevent businesses from growing and scaling to their full potential.
The CAN Health Network’s primary goals are to create economic prosperity by scaling Canadian technology companies and stimulate the creation of domestic Canadian jobs by helping companies overcome the structural barriers to doing this on their own. As a result of the Network, health systems are able to joint-problem solve with companies to provide innovative solutions resulting in better tools, cost savings and a more efficient health care system.

Recognizing unique regional needs & opportunities under one national network

Through this regional model, the CAN Health Network is able to work across regional boundaries to identify shared problems, priorities and potential solutions, and connect health operators across Canada interested in similar technology solutions.

COMING SOON…

Each Edge within the CAN Health Network regions represents a health region/authority or a group of health care organizations that function as a co-op style placement site. Mid-to-late stage ventures embed themselves into that Edge for up to a year, working on key market-ready challenges faced by that Edge and other similar organizations across the Network. Successful products are adopted within that Edge and can then be scaled across the rest of the CAN Health Network using innovative procurement models based on market demand. Our Edge model creates an ecosystem of globally competitive companies, boosting GDP and creating quality employment opportunities here in Canada.
With the profound complexities and challenges COVID-19 has confronted us with, we are eager to help power CAN Health Network’s piloting and commercializing of made-in-Canada technologies—strengthening the future of health care for patients and generating economic prosperity across the country.
The collaboration with Prism through the CAN Health Network has been invaluable in our business development. The insights we gained from working with Prism in a real-time environment allowed us to make key modifications to our product to better meet the needs of the market.
