
April 17, 2025 (Oakville, ON) – The Coordinated Accessible National (CAN) Health Network is excited to announce its partnership with CHEO, a leading pediatric health care and research centre in Ottawa, Ontario. This new collaboration will spark even more transformative innovation projects at CHEO to improve health care delivery and access to care across the region.
The CAN Health Network is a national initiative connecting top health care organizations, known as Edges, with cutting-edge Canadian solutions. On a mission to drive economic prosperity and create better health for all, CAN Health aims to support Canadian businesses in scaling innovative health technologies not only across Canada, but also globally.
As an Edge, CHEO will work with CAN Health and the CHEO Research Institute’s Core Innovation team to identify key challenges in its organization, and match those with leading, market-ready Canadian solutions. Innovation is a cornerstone of CHEO, and this collaboration will help CHEO introduce even more health tech solutions to its patients and staff faster than ever, while creating more opportunities for Canadian tech companies to grow and innovate.
