September 29, 2025 (Oakville, ON) – The CAN Health Network and Supply Ontario are teaming up to transform innovation and procurement in Ontario. Through Supply Ontario’s mandate to centralize and modernize procurement in Ontario and CAN Health’s mission to introduce more Canadian advancements into Canada’s health system, together they aim to accelerate the adoption of home-grown innovations across Ontario.
This collaboration brings together two organizations committed to transforming health care delivery and procurement in Ontario. Through this partnership, Supply Ontario and the CAN Health Network will work together to identify, spread awareness of and scale ready to procure Ontario and Canadian health innovations, that meet the needs of health care providers while building a more resilient, responsive and self-sustaining supply chain.
Launched in 2019, the CAN Health Network unites health care organizations from coast-to-coast, to identify real-world challenges and match them with solutions developed by Canadian companies. The goal: support homegrown innovation, strengthen Canada’s economy, and improve the delivery of health care for all Canadians.
With a mandate from the province to modernize public sector procurement in Ontario, Supply Ontario brings a whole-of-government approach to reducing barriers for innovators, and strengthens Ontario’s competitiveness, supply chain growth and resiliency.
“This partnership with CAN Health is an exciting opportunity to amplify ready-to-procure Ontario- and Canadian-made innovations in the public sector, while fostering engagement with the market to address unmet needs. Working together, and through the recently launched Ontario Health Innovation Pathway, we can better support health care organizations, champion Canadian innovation, and ensure public dollars go further in delivering value and improving care.” said Jamie Wallace, CEO of Supply Ontario.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Supply Ontario,” said Dr. Dante Morra, Founder and Chair, CAN Health Network. “Their leadership in procurement, combined with our innovation platform, will help create more opportunities for Canadian companies and deliver better health care solutions to Canadians.”
